Government Accounting
Arthur P. Venezia, self-employed government accountant visited us on Tuesday April 20, 2010 in HHE #219 from 4:30PM to 6:00PM, BAP members had the opportunity to interact with a well rounded individual with a broad knowledge in the accounting field. Mr. Venezia exposed us to what goverment accounting looks like and the differences between the government and financial accounting. He talked about obtaining the CPA and the importance of being certified because having this license will open many job opportunities from Private to public firms, self-employed to FBI and from large to small companies. This was an informative meeting.
